Ten Days in Panama

I am retiring in the Spring of 2018 and have begun a campaign to find the perfect place to retire abroad. My first trip was to Belize in February of 2011 and this time I am trekking through Panama. I will take the time to do touristy, "must do" things like seeing the canal, but for the most part I will be traveling both coasts to see if this is a country I could see myself putting down permanent roots in. I hope you enjoy my ramblings as much as I know I will enjoy my trip!

I grew up in central Montana and moved to Washington, DC to pursue my passion for politics. I spent time as a remodeler and carpenter, relocated to Key West to open a Bed & Breakfast and ultimately ended up living and working in the Tampa Bay area. I am now working on my plans to retire abroad, which will probably be somewhere in Latin America. Lots of planning and exploratory travels ahead!
